Who We Are
Fitchburg Animal Control holds all stray dogs for 10 days. They then get Spayed/Neutered, Vaccinated and Groomed. Then they are put up for adoption. We try very hard NOT to Euthenize any dogs, but unfortunately there are times when there is an aggressive dog or a very unhealthy dog that we just can't help. Our adoptable dogs have a large volunteer group to help with Training and Socializing.
Adopting a friend
All of our dogs go into homes and are part of the family. They are not to be kept outside in pens or tied to trees.
An Adoption Application is a MUST. An Application MUST FIRST be filled out and APPROVED before any appointment can be set up. EMAIL Fitchburg Animal Control for an Application!!! FitchburgACO@aol.com . Once recieved an aplication can take 3-5 working business days to process. Thank you
All of the dogs stay in a wonderful home based Kennel and visited by APPOINTMENT ONLY!
We sometimes have cats available for adoption as well!
