Please Help Us With our Seasonal Need for Kitten Foster Homes!
Each year the shelter takes in approximately 30-40 stray pregnant mom cats, and hundreds of kittens too young to be put up for adoption. Unfortunately, the shelter does not have the space to house these mothers and kittens until they are ready for adoption. Baypath is committed to helping these animals out. We are, therefore, asking you to help us out. Depending on the age of the kittens this could be a three month committment. You will not be disappointed. This is a fabulous experience and a huge help to a small shelter like Baypath. Please call us at 508-435-6938.
Who We Are
Baypath Humane Society is a non-profit shelter for cats and dogs. Our purpose is to facilitate the placement of stray and unwanted animals and pets in desirable homes; to establish and maintain an animal shelter and associated procedures which promote the health, care and adoption of these animals; and to educate adopters and the local public on proper pet care and handling, overpopulation, and the prevention of cruelty to animals. Baypath's animal shelter is "no-kill". This means that the animals in our care, our guests, are never euthanized merely because we lack space or because the animal's stay with us has exceeded a pre-defined amount of time.

Donations & Volunteering
Baypath is always looking for new volunteers to help us with our fund raisers, general shelter help, dog walking, and more. If you love animals and are interested in becoming more involved in helping out the animals at Baypath, we'd love to hear from you! Please visit our web site and check out our Volunteer section for complete details.
Monetary donations cover our operating expenses and animal care costs. Baypath relies solely on generous contributions from you and our business community to run our society and operate our shelter. Baypath does not function as Animal Control for any town. We are not affiliated with any other humane society or any national organization. Thus, we do not receive funds from government agencies, local or federal.
Because we are non-profit, your donations to us are tax deductible. We use your donations to further the goals defined in our mission statement with most funds going toward the operation of our shelter on Rafferty Road in Hopkinton.
