The Alliance for Animals is a non-profit animal protection organization that operates a low-cost spay/neuter and veterinary clinic, as well as no-kill rescue and adoption services for metropolitan Boston. Our clinic and shelter are located in South Boston, Mass. Our goal is to build a new and larger facility in Boston for the clinic and seperate adoption centers for cats and dogs.
Adopting a Friend
We try very hard to find the perfect match for the cats and dogs in our care. Our adoption process begins with a phone interview and after that we set up a time for adopters to come meet the cats or dogs that we think might be a good match.
Come Visit Us
We are located at 232 Silver Street in South Boston, just minutes from Rte. 93 or the Mass. Pike. Call or go online for directions. Please call ahead to check on the animals available for adoption, and to discuss your particular needs/wants. Call 617 268-7800, and come for a visit! ALL PETS ARE SPAYED/NEUTERED, fully vaccinated, tested for FeLV/FIV (cats), Heartworm/Lyme (dogs), wormed, microchipped, and given any other needed veterinary care prior to adoption. All cats are felv/fiv negative unless otherwise noted in their individual description. All dogs are negative for lyme and heartworm disease unless otherwise noted. Adoption donation is $125 (cat) and $250 (dog). Our population changes frequently as pets are adopted, so be sure to check about who we have on any given day. Not all adoptable pets are listed on these pages.
