We are open Tuesday-Friday 11-4, and Saturday by appointment. Please call for an appointment to see all of the wonderful companions needing homes.
The Nantucket MSPCA is one of four shelters in the organization. We are a small shelter integrated into the island's animal hospital and wildlife rehibilitation program. We accept all animals at any time and have approximatly a 90% adoption rate.
To adopt an animal there is a four page adoption application to be filled out. We like to know who will live with the pet, if there are other animals, if anyone has allergies and if the landlord supports the adoption. This way we can ensure that our companions are getting the best possible match. Our adoption fees depend on the animal, and help to cover the medical care the animals receive while here.
The Nantucket MSPCA is located 30 miles off the coast of Cape Cod, Massachusetts. If you need directions from the boat or plane, please email Stephanie and she would be happy to assist you.
