TIPS
Winter is on its way once again. Remember to put hay into your outdoor dog's houses to keep them warm. Water bowls should be checked frequently to avoid freezing. Using a large plastic pail prevents the water from freezing quickly. The ideal situation would be for all dogs to be kept inside during the winter months, but this is not always done. If you see a dog without shelter please call your local dog officer. You do not need to give a name for them to take action against the owners and help the dog out of a miserable existence. Please do your part!
WHO WE ARE
MA Poundpuppies Adoption came to be out of the neccessity to place numerous homeless and stray pets into new homes. All animals are spayed or neutered and given necessary innoculations before being adopted. The costs for these procedures must be paid by the adopters as we operate on a small budget and cannot afford to absorb these fees.
BEFORE YOU ADOPT
Please make sure you research the breed of dog you are interested in adopting. So many times people get a dog without realizing that their lifestyle does not meet the needs of their new dog and unfortunately the dog will be given away, left out in the backyard ignored or end up in a shelter. Dogs, like people, have feelings and you must realize that these animals are not to be tossed out like the old couch or microwave. Choosing the right pet for your family will reward you time and time again. Please consider this advice during your search.
