I am a former member of active rescue groups! Due to progressing disibilities, I am no longer able to keep up the very demanding work involved in properly caring for these "babies."...due to circumstance beyond control placements are needed soon!
Some of these adoptable pets have special needs which makes their placements more difficult. it is breaking my heart, but I must also place some of my personal pets...I intended to love & care for them their entire life...but my health has had a drastic change...they deserve more than I can now give them...
My small crew are greatly loved! I seek only the BEST adoptive families. I know these pets very well....and will screen applicants to ensure their home will be safe, this includes a home visit, vet reference or personal references. Most of the dogs will require fenced yards.
PLEASE take the time to read the profile of the pet you are interested in...each one has a story about how they came into rescue..It will also give you information that may help you decide whether that particular pet will fit within your family or life style!
I also do some courtesy listings for individuals who, for various reasons, need to find new homes for their pets. The owners follow all adoption rules, pets must be fully "vetted." All vaccinations, flea/heartworm prevention and heartworm status are required. These pets MUST also be spayed or neutered!

. Contact us about the pet you are considering. We'll get an application to you. After the application has been approved..... you are invited to come meet and get acquainted! We will then do a home visit and bring the pet to inspect your house!! Keep in mind that they have to approve of you also!
Just a statistic for ya' -- Large breed black dogs are the last to get adopted from most shelters and the first to be put down. So ADOPT AND SAVE A LIFE!!!
