WE NEED YOUR HELP!!
We are currently working on applying for our non-profit
status. We need all the help we can get until then, so if
you can donate to our cause, it would be greatly
appreciated.
Who We Are
Gulf Coast Dachshund Rescue consists of volunteers
from the Gulf Coast States who are passionate about our
breed's future. We do not operate out of a shelter- we
use our homes as foster homes for unwanted and needy
dachshunds.
So often, purebred dachshunds find themselves in
perilous situations. We rescue dachshunds, regardless
of age or health, from shelters, animal control,
owner-surrenders and more.
Our mission at GCDR is to place dachshunds in their
forever homes. We have adoption guidelines and
procedures that ensure each dog is a match for his or
her new home.
Adopting a friend
Each potential new home will be required to fill out an
application that will ask for three personal references
and one veterinary reference, as well as other questions
that help us make a perfect match. A home-visit and
contract will also be required. Sound like a lot? Some
people feel that these procedures are "over-kill," but
they help us ensure that these dogs find themselves in
their perfect forever home.

19 months-7 years 175.00
Seniors and special needs 150.00
