Today was a really sad day for me! Skunk, one of my many ferals who was no longer feral and had become quite the lush, had to be euthanized today. He was diagnosed with renal failure about 6 months ago at the age of only 4 years old. He also was suffering from Stomatitis, herpese and had tumors in his left ear. The list was just so long and without the funding to put him through intense fluid therapy and have his teeth pulled, I went with a holistic approach with good nutrition and supplements which have worked wonders for others in his condition. It just wasn't enough to overcome all of the health issues he had and he would have slowly starved to death which was something I wasn't going to put him through. He will be sorely missed! Had he received the treatment when first diagnosed, he would still have been fighting an uphill battle but it might have been one we could have won.
Funding for groups like ours are so important and I ask that you consider making a donation to help with animals like Skunk that are in dire need - if not to our group, some other worthy group out there that is facing the same situation! Thank you for viewing our page and God Bless!

We are a proud member of the ProPlan Rally to Rescue Team!
This site will be updated soon, with more animals and their corresponding pictures. Due to the time constraints of a full time job and caring for over 30 animals each day, it is taking us much longer to get this site together than we had hoped, but we will complete our list of adoptable animals and post photos just as soon as time allows.
