Our Featured Pet...
Buddy is a very mixed large dog, about 70 pounds. He is listed as a Golden Retriever mix, since that is the only breed the vet and I could agree on. He is about 18 months old and has been neutered. He is heartworm free and current on shots. A very loving dog who needs a home .

Amour De Chiens, Inc. was established in 2005. Most of the dogs we have available are medium to large breeds. We will adopt only to homes with fenced yards.
Who We Are
Currently most of the dogs we have available are fostered here in Folsom, Louisiana. Our foster mom currently is Marcella Ziifle. I invite anyone on the Northshore of St. Tammany Parish or on the Eastbak of Jefferson Parish to volunteer as a foster home. Puppies generaly need a foster home for 2 to 15 weeks. Older dogs may require a longer stay in foster care. If you can volunteer as a foster home, call (985) 796-3622
Adopting a friend
If you see a puppy or dog that you are interested in on our list , call our contact number or email us. If you are local we will meet you with the dog .
All adoptions carry an adoption fee minimum of $85, which may be more if otherwise noted. All dogs are current on vacinations and are altered. Thanks to anyone who adopted a dog or even considered a rescue for their family.

Our dogs are in foster homes, but you are welcome to visit if you call in advance.
