Who We Are -

The St. Martin Humane Society was founded in April 1999 by a group of concerned citizens. The Society obtained a 501(c)(3) tax exemption status in June 2000 and relies on community support and fund raising to fulfill its mission.

We have pets for adoption and we rely solely on foster homes for the animal in our care. We also work very hard to try to reduce the overpopulation of domestic animals in the area served by the Society through low cost and free spay-neuter programs.

Adopting a friend -

Our pets are immunized, on heartworm preventative and spayed/neutered. Our foster homes provide love & attention so our pet are usually well socialized.

We bring our adoptable pets to PETsMART in Lafayette, LA. If you are interested in adopting one of our pets, please download adoption form and e-mail it to webmaster@stmartinhumane.org.

Our adoption fee is usually $95
