We have chosen Kuranda dog beds for our boarding and rescue facilities because they are so good for our dogs. We still don't have enough for all of our dogs. If you would like to donate a bed so another dog can sleep in proper comfort, please click here.

We have many wonderful dogs available, please check the pages to see if one matches your ideal companion. We always have dogs in training (our dogs stay minimum 3 to 4 weeks for obedience, socialization and thorough temperament test before becoming available for adoption) and maintain a waitlist, so if you don't see a match now, perhaps your dog is already here and working!

Shopping and Fundraisers

Breed Ribbon Magnets!! Contact us for your breed and to see a picture. Only $7 for a 9" ribbon. Also, we have gator clips for only $3!!

Help us turn trash into cash!!

We are currently participating in a fund raising program. This program pays our group for each empty Ink Jet, Laser printer cartridge or digital cell phone (working or not) we collect. Not only will this help us raise funds, it is also great for the environment!

We are asking for your help and all it requires is for you to save some trash, which we can turn into cash. Save your empty ink jet and laser cartridges and cell phones for us, we will arrange to pick up the cartridges to send in for cash. If you have a large volume of cartridges, we can simply supply you with a fully postage paid mailing box which can be sent by mail each time it is filled.

Collection procedures are a little different for laser cartridges. If these are the type of cartridges you use, please call us and we will arrange to pick up your cartridges.

The money we raise through this program will help provide funds for veterinary expenses, medications, food, treats, toys and to help expand our rescue capacity.

We are a 501(3)c organization and all donations are tax deductible within the laws.

We use probiotics and other supplements on the dogs and are seeing fantastic results.

We are using more and more Oxyfresh products on the dogs and seeing WONDERFUL results. Just ask us about them and how to order.

We also are seeing fantastic results with magnetic therapy. We would be glad to share our ideas and wonderful success stories.

Who We Are
Stepping Stone German Shepherd Rescue is an all volunteer, not for profit organization dedicated to finding new homes for German Shepherd Dogs.

Our German Shepherds are primarily from homes that can no longer keep them for a variety of reasons: lack of commitment, lack of knowledge about the breed, divorce, illness, death of owner, moving, allergies or abuse. We also have German Shepherds that were found as strays or were obtained from shelters.

We have many wonderful German Shepherds available for adoption from 8 week old puppies to senior citizens, long and short coats and many color patterns.

Our dogs are fostered for at least a number of weeks before becoming available for adoption. They are started in obedience training and socialization activities. This allows us to evaluate the dogs for temperament and health before matching them with their new human companions.
