Learn More about The Rottweiler Situation
Adopting a New Family Member
Please Note that ALL Of the dogs adopted from INKYRR are spayed/neutered prior to placement in new homes. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS!
Minimum requirements for adopting from INKY are:
1.Residency within the states of Indiana or Kentucky
2.Previous large breed ownership experience
3.All applicants must be at least 21 years of age
4.Participation in formal obedience training and socialization (this is a MUST!)
5.Demonstrated responsible dog ownership, and primary care giver of a dog (INCLUDING Spay/Neuter,regular routine vaccinations, and heartworm preventative of current family pets .)
6.Demonstrated financial stability
7.If you rent, we require a letter from your landlord giving you permission to keep a Rottweiler on the premises and stating that there are no insurance problems.
8.Fenced yards may be required at the discretion of the Rescue.
9. There is an adoption donation of $175.00 upon approval and adoption. This helps provide veterinary care for these Rottweiler's.
INKY Rottweiler Rescue's main foster facility is located in rural Indiana. This is usually the very first chance most of these dogs have had to experience the love of human companions. We also maintain a very selective few "pre-adoptive homes" throughout Indiana and Kentucky. Please visit our
