The Shelter Challenge provides monetary grants that will help pay for the vet bills SAAP incurs with each animal that is brought into the program. During the Winter Version, ALL of you stepped up and helped us rank 3rd in KY, winning 50 beds for our animals. For the 2014 Challenge, we would LOVE to qualify for some of the grant money. Please vote daily. Click on the picture for the link!

Tori was found just in time, because she was just 3 hours away from giving birth to kittens. Tori had 4 kittens, which have all have found homes. Now it's Tori turn!

Elka was homeless and pregnant and wandering around Elkwood Lake Resort looking for someone to take care of her.  Her puppies have been adopted now and Elka wants her forever home.

Paisley was rescued her from our friends at Campbell County Animal Shelter. Paisley turned out to be a trouper and gave birth to 5 healthy kittens. Paisley was a stellar mom and took amazing care of her kittens who have now all been placed in loving homes. Only Paisley is left looking for that special someone with a home she can call her own.

Zeus has stunning blue eyes. He is a big fun guy that loves playing in the yard and does great walking on a leash. Zeus gets along fantastic with adult dogs of all sizes. He would like a home with no puppies. He is a loving, friendly dog that also enjoys sitting with you and belly rubs. Zeus would like a home with an active family that will love him for his awesome personality and not just his amazing good looks.

Peter and Cotton are a bonded pair looking for their forever home!  Please consider giving them their forever home!

Meet Jack! Great with dogs, loves to cuddle, loves water and pretty much acts like a dog. Jack would have to be the one and only cat in your house. That shouldn't matter though, because after you have him you won't need another. He also all white with one blue eye and one green eye. He is neutered, up-to-date on shots, microchipped and front declawed. He really wants to be the only cat in the house; we think he is part dog.

Agatha is a good girl. She is crate trained and housetrained if you let her out every couple of hours. Otherwise at her age she has accidents in the house. She loves everyone and only fusses at her furry friends if they pester her too much. She does not bite them just lets them know to stop bothering her. She loves to lounge in the house with you and likes to play with nylabones, Kongs and balls. Agatha would be a great pet for anyone, she is a sweet girl who wants to retire in your home and be your friend lounging on your deck or taking a nice evening and morning walk. She has a lot of life left in her step..
