SAAP's FEATURED PETS:

Meet Becky

Beckey was found hit by a car. Her rear left leg was broken very bad. She needed a plate and screws to fix it. And then it had to be pinned. Her front left elbow was dislocated. She is resting in foster care. Please consider sponsoring and/or fostering animals like Beckey. Without your support we could not save these sweet animals. Beckey has never attempted to bite or growl during this whole event. She was in severe pain at the Emergency Clinic, but was still sweet and respectful to everyone. Beckey is totally housebroken and a favorite at every Vet office she has been to. Due to the warmer weather and dogs getting out running around, we currently have 3 hit by car dogs in our care. Some, like Beckey were strays and some where given up by the owner due to finances. Call us for more information or to help the animals in any way. 859-391-1234! Please help us by donating to help Beckey. We have found a home for her, but she still needs thousands of dollars worth of surgeries to fix her front and rear legs. She just had her appointment with the specialist today 6/24/09. SAAP survives by public donations and adoption fees. We need your help, please donate today.

Meet Rumpke Cat

Rumpke Cat delivered 5 kittens at Rumpke Landfill. We accepted her and her babies and put them in foster care. Please consider sponsoring and/or fostering a pregnant or nursing cat. This is the time of year we need you most. And Please help us name Rumpke cat! We also have adoptable cats at Highland Heights Animal Hospital 859-781-2577 or Western Hills Petsmart 513-451-0100. Stop in anytime to see them.

Please call if you can help us in any way. Fostering is one of the most rewarding parts of animal rescue. There is always an adopter out there but for someone to care and give a pet a nice warm environment till that adopter comes along, truely is rescueing. Every little bit you can do is a benefit to these animals.
