About Little Hills

Little Hills logo Our mission is to assist in placing abandoned, unwanted, or abused animals in loving, responsible homes, promote and provide spaying & neutering services, and to provide humane education. However, we can only transport dogs under 50 Lbs. to our sister No-Kill shelters. Dogs over 50 Lbs. need an adopted family!

We have now rescued and saved over 300 dogs from the local Animal Control Shelter since April 2010.

We also need financial support. Our current funds are low and we need help!

Adopting a friend

You must complete an Adoption Application upon your initial visitation of the pet. We need references from your neighbors, family members, friends or vet before we can consider you as an adoptive parent! We need to make sure the pet is going to have a good life!

Come Visit Us!

We currently do not have a shelter. Our dogs that do not meet the criteria for the no-kill shelters are presently in foster care. You are welcome to visit any dog at any time. We need advance notice so we can provide you with directions. Hopefully, we will get grants to rent a building and provide a one stop shelter and holding facility in the Albany KY area.

If you have any questions, please contact Jeff or Enid.
