Zoe is a very beautiful, sweet and outgoing cat. She loves to play with toys and loves attention. She is quite of an escape artist as well, this could explain how she became lost. I will only adopt to person(s) who have vet references and are willing to give her an indoor home. No exceptions. Contact Sandy Hill at 502-220-0271 or ocki@insightbb.com.
Parker is a very gentle, very affectionate girl. She loves to nuzzle your face and neck. She is very quiet and gets along well with other cats. The vet clinic absolutely adores her. I will only adopt Parker to a person(s) with vet references and she must be an indoor cat only. Please contact Sandy Hill at 502-220-0271 or ocki@insightbb.com. My name is Ying Yang, and I had a rough start to life as a feral cat that was trapped and neutered, but who finally trusted people enough to let them pet me. I'm now very friendly with my caregiver (climb into her lap to be petted and let her pick me up). Although I'm skiddish of other people at first, with a little time, when I get to know them, I'm friendly w/them, too. I would make a great indoor-outdoor cat, if in a SAFE environment. I also have beautiful green eyes! (I'm a great mouser.) I am litter box trained and tested negative for FIV/FeLV.
UPDATE: He gets along fine with a 7-month-old female kitten and was also playing "big brother" to 2 smaller kittens. Therefore, we believe if he is introduced to other younger cats, he is fine. He does not however like it when other males/adults wander into his territory.
Tolerance of children and dogs is unknown. Call Stacie for more info at 502-633-1199..
Occasionally OCKI volunteers find adoptable, friendly cats living in feral colonies, and we attempt to find homes for these cats. Please see our adoptable pet list to see if any of these special felines may fit in your family. Operation CatSnip of KY, Inc.News - Two ways to help Operation CatSnip
Who We Are
Operation CatSnip of Kentucky was officially incorporated and granted 501(c)(3) status in 2009. All members are volunteers and we operate solely by funds collected from donations and fund-raising efforts. Operation CatSnip of Kentucky, Inc. (OCKI) is a not-for-profit organization whose primary purpose is to effectively and safely decrease the population of feral colonies, strays and barn cats through a humane, convenient, self-sustaining trap-neuter-return-management program (TNRM) in Shelby County and central Kentucky. The secondary purpose is to inform the public of the benefits of managing colonies through education and outreach so that the cats and the people can peacefully co-exist.
