I want to thank everyone who has supported these efforts to help the needy dogs of Rowan. Your kindness and compassion has helped save many dogs and we are eternally grateful for your caring and support.

The Rowan Pound is in need of immediate rescue help.
We have had many pregnant dogs and hunting rejects. The pound is always full of beagles.

We are in need of supplies and with your help, many more lives can be saved.

This list below is needed for the dogs

**-Medium and small crates. We received several crates this weekend! Thank you!
**-Blankets. We have received lots of towels and blankets! Thank You!
**-Puppy pads...Thank You, Judy!!!
**-Leashes and collars. We received lots of collars! Thank you!
**-Cleaning supplies/trash bags/latex gloves/etc. Thank You, Debbie!
**-Jiffy Tags ID tags for transport. Thank you, Judy!

Still need the things below:

-Food.
-Eagle Pack Holistic Solution...excellent product to fix little tummies.
-Dewormers, panacur and pyrantel...We have some pyrantel!
-Ivermectin
-Gerber powerded electrolytes.
-Frontline Spray.
-Puppy vaccinations.
-Adult vaccinations.
-Medications such as antibiotics/antidiareah/antifungals
-Ex-Pens.
-Funds for vetting/pull fees/additional meds/etc...paypal buttons
-Gas cards for our transporters.
-Nylabones/Kongs/easily sanitized toys
-Pens and tarp covers are desperately needed for temp holding...we have a Lowes locally that carries them.
-Dog houses.

We are also in need of a few more good rescues that can commit to Rowan dogs on a regular basis.

Our mission is to help the many stray dogs in the area. We are focused on rescuing strays BEFORE they end up at the Rowan County Pound. We are also commited to helping the Rowan Pound dogs. If you are local and have to place your dog, please send an email before taking your dog to the pound. We do NOT have a facility and space is an issue so please be prepared to give us a few weeks to find placement. You must also make sure your dog is Up To Date on all vaccinations. We CANNOT take kitties. I hope this changes in the future but at this time we cannot help kitties so please do not call asking us to take your kitties. If you need help for a kitty, I can post a picture on the site as a courtesy listing.
