'Hi. I'm Luke and I'm a really, really pretty australian shepherd who came to the shelter from down on Bonds Mill Road. I'm a very sweet boy and I just love people. I don't mind other dogs, but I'm not really so fond of cats, so my new owner can't have any cats. I'm hoping my previous owner will come and get me though and I won't even have to find a new home at all. If they don't show up by June 30th, I'll be up for adoption.'

'Hello. My name is Romeo and I came here with my momma and my brother Gentry. You can find his pictures on here too. Somebody found us in their barn, along with another momma kitty and her two babies. We're all very sweet, but we're also homeless, so if you'd like to adopt a kitty, there are plenty here to choose from. So I hope you'll make a quick trip out to visit us and see who you might want to take home.' From June 1st through June 30th, when you adopt a cat from the Humane Society at the regular adoption fee of $75 (which includes testing for feline leukemia and FIV, all vaccinations, and spay/neuter) you can get a second cat for yourself…or a friend…at no charge.
