About Kentucky Tails...

Kentucky Tails is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization incorporated in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.  Our mission is to find permanent placements for stray or abandoned cats without the use of euthanasia.

Because we do not maintain a shelter our intake is very limited.

How YOU Can Make A Difference:

There are plenty of ways that you can help us in our plight to rescue & adopt as many cats as we possibly can. Our resources are limited, whether it's volunteers, foster homes, medical supplies, food, litter, or vet funds, there's always a need and a way for everyone to help us. You can donate online, stop to see us on a Saturday between noon - 4pm at the Florence Petsmart, or donate via mail.

Some of our expenses are:
$15.00 for flea/dewormer products
$25.00 for a spay/neuter
$20.00 to test for FIV/FeLV
$30.00 for 3 kitten vaccines
$10.00 to microchip
$15.00 for Rabies vaccine

That's $100 - $115 for just the basic medical needs that we provide for each cat that we adopt out, & doesn't include food, litter, or any other medical care that might be needed.

You can also help by donating any of the following:
Food
Litter
Petsmart Gift Cards (for food & litter)
Gas cards (for transportation to & from vet)
Gently used towels/baby blankets (for cages)
Laundry detergent (for washing all the towels & blankets)
Cleaning supplies - paper towels, antibacterial cleaner, trash bags, etc.
