Our Guests
We only house cats and dogs. Our adoption fee is $49.95 and all of our cats and dogs are up to date on shots and are spayed/neutered. Our dogs are heartworm tested and placed on heartworm preventative. Our cats are feline lukemia and fiv tested.
Who We Are
L.I.F.E. House for animals was established in 1997 by three board members who saw a need for a no euthanasia pet adoption facility dedicated to finding loving homes for pets in need. The Fido Court facility in Frankfort, KY opened in May 2003.
What We Believe
Euthanasia of animals due to overpopulation will not be performed at the facility. If an animal is fortunate enough to make it to L.I.F.E. House, it will remain there until a home is found whether it takes a day, a week, a month, or a year. An animals age, temperament and health will be assessed prior to acceptance into our facility. A homelike atmosphere will be provided to our animal guests.
