The "Little Feet Prints" newsletter is published by LittleFeet and Last Chance Chi quarterly and furnished free of charge to our members and shelters. Our most recent issue was mailed out on August 15th. Our third quarter issue will be available in December.

Who We Are

Last Chance Chi Rescue is a division of Little Feet Rest & Rescue, Inc., a 501(c)3 / Public Charity Status Rescue Organization.

Last Chance is not your "normal" rescue. As our name implies, most of the furkids that come into our care had no other options. About 75% of the faces you see posted on our site had been scheduled for euthanasia before finding their way to Last Chance.

We are devoted to finding loving, forever homes for those who have been mistreated or tossed away and are looking for families that want to be part of saving the lives of the ones no one wanted.

Adopting a friend

Each of our fosters are assessed as individuals and their adoptions are based on their personality, temperament, and placement needs. Adoption restricitons will vary based on the type of environment best suited for the happiness and comfort of our fosters and their furure families.

Although each adoption is individually considered, the following restrictions apply to all of our fosters:

1. We adopt to indoor homes only.

2. A secure and appropriate fence is required.

3. An excellent vet reference is a must.

4. Any other furkids in your care must be up to date on all needed vacs, and spayed/nuetured.

5. Age restrictions for children may apply and will be posted with foster's bios.

When making inquiries, please take the time to tell us a little about yourself and the home environment you are offering a foster. This will allow us to give you a quick response to questions concerning their personality and "fit" into your family. (Please note: Our foster moms are not required to reply to one sentence inquiries such as: "How much?" "Where can I see it?" "I want this dog.", etc).

Because Last Chance is a privately operated rescue with our fosters living in homes with individual families, we do not have a public facility where visits are possible. We have many inquires about the fosters in our care - In order to let them live as normal a life as possible while in foster care, meetings are set only for those with approved adoption applications.
