Update on Marley
Many of you saw our request for donations for our darling Marley who needed surgery. We received some generous donations, but were still trying to raise enough funds. A rescue group we have worked with for many years took in a dog with major injuries from a being hit by a car. They raised enough funds to cover that dog's injuries and had some left over. They fell in love with Marley's face and offered to take him since they would be able to pay for his surgery. We are using the money donated for Marley to cover his adoption fee and the transportation to the rescue group. We are all thrilled that Marley will have this surgery and get the happy ending he deserves. Thanks for all who donated towards his surgery. And a big thanks to this rescue for giving Marley this surgery.

Pet of the Month

Introducing Honey...

Meet Honey! She is a Coonhound mix and is 10 - 12 yrs old (as of 7/2). She came to us as a stray a couple months ago. She was so thin, that she needed some TLC and to gain some weight before we put her up for adoption. Her puppies have found homes and she is now ready for one of her own. She is a lovely girl with a wonderfully expressive face. She is a super sweet dog who just loves attention. She is ready to say hello to every one who is around. She is calm and well mannered. She is social and just wants to hang out with people. She gets along well with other dogs. She has no issues with food or treats and is a tolerant girl. Honey deserves to be pampered and loved for the rest of her live. She would enjoy a quiet home where she can lay at your feet and give you lots of love. Please consider adopting this older gal.
