We have two Pug parties a year. Our Spring Fling will be on May 10, 2008, starting at 10:00 am. Please email us or go to our website www.prairiepugs.com for more details.
There will be a potluck luncheon with meat, beverages and table service provided. Please bring a covered dish, lawn chairs and a camera. Please R.S.V.P if you are planning on attending. All Pugs and those who love them are welcome. If you would like to be put on our mailing list, please send an email to prairiepugmom@sbcglobal.net. We are located just minutes from Topeka, KS.
Who We Are
We are a Mom and Pop group who love Pugs like crazy. We have coerced our Pug loving friends to help find loving homes for homeless Pugs. We do our very best to match Pugs and families to provide perfect forever homes for these funny faced furbabies.
In order to adopt one of our Pugs, you must fill out an application. We will then do an interview to find out if a Pug is truly the companion for you, we check your references and visit with your Veterinarian. The final step is a home visit to make sure we see nothing that would harm a Pug. One of our requirements is that you must have a fenced yard...NO EXCEPTIONS. Due to the vulnerability of a Pugs eyes, we do not adopt to homes with small children or large dogs.
We do not ship our Pugs. Again, NO EXCEPTIONS.
Adopting a friend
Our adoption fee is $250.00 and up depending on what our Vet charges to make our Pugs as healthy as possible. This fee allows us to spay or neuter our Pugs, make them current on their vaccinations, do a heart worm check and treat them for heart worms if needed. We do a fecal and a dental if needed. We try to make them as healthy as we possibly can. While our Pugs are in foster care, we evaluate them so that we can match them to the best suited forever home.
