HEARTS 4 ANIMALS DOG RESCUE Most of the animals on our site have been saved from euthanasia at our county animal shelter and are now in foster homes, waiting for their forever families. Some are still at the shelter, unsure of their fate. Occasionally, we list pets that are still with their owners but need a new home, for whatever reason. We work with each animal to overcome their fears, socializing them to be wonderful pets. We love animals, and we feel that they all deserve to be treated like the special gifts from God that they are. Before adoption, all our animals are heartworm tested, checked for internal parasites, and spayed or neutered and fully vaccinated.
Who We Are
We are a non-profit group of animal lovers. It breaks our hearts to see neglected, unloved, unwanted and abused animals. So many wonderful pets are put to death every day, the numbers are staggering. We do our best to save as many as possible through the internet and working with other animal lovers across the United States to get animals to loving homes, where they will be treated the way God intended. An application for adoption must be filled out and a home visit will be done to assure that the animals get the best homes possible. All animals will be altered and vaccinated before being adopted. An adoption fee is required to help defray the enormous cost of vetting these animals. A fence is REQUIRED to adopt a dog from Hearts 4 Animals, and we do home visits to ensure the fence is secure and appropriate for each dog. Please note, we DO NOT ship our dogs; you MUST come to Kansas to pick up your new family member!
