Betty
Betty is a 1 1/2 year old, tan, smooth coat Chihuahua. She weighs around 12 pounds. She is a great girl once she gets to know you. She is shy at first, and will back off and bark at you until she gets comfortable. When she has adjusted she is a love bug and wants to spend time with you. She gets along great with other dogs and is doing great on her house-breaking. She is completely vetted and microchipped and her adoption fee is 150.00.
100% COMMITMENT: Please note that we NEVER say that our furkids are 100% potty-trained. There is always a period of adjustment, not just for the adopted furkid but for everyone in the house, and you must be willing to work with your new family member. It can take anywhere from several days to several months for this to happen. You must be 100% committed to this as a long-term relationship for the both of you.
ADOPTION DONATIONS: All adoption donations support the care and vetting for all our furkids. Please consider this when planning on adopting.
Who we are
We are a Not for Profit Rescue/Shelter in Topeka,Kansas. We mainly rescue Chihuahuas and mixes, however we also take in Chinese Cresteds and Italian Greyhounds and now other small breeds. We are also a Hospice for older Chihuahuas that need a home for the remaining time that they have. They receive all the health care and loving that they can stand for the remainder of their lives. Adopting a friend
Adoption fees range from $150.00-$400.00. All dogs are completely vetted-spayed/neutered, dentals if needed, all vaccines and tests completed. We also work on behavior if needed and do our best to house train. There is an application that must be completed for each potential adopter that can be sent upon request. We do use air-flight if requested, however this amount will be the responsibility of the new adopter. The fee for this is $200.00 for the air-flight, $40.00 for the carrier to ship in (yours to keep)and $35.00 for the Health Certificate.

We are not a facility shelter. All of our dogs are kept in private homes. We do not allow home visits at this time for personal security reasons. NOTE: We are only 2 people and we work hard to take the best care of all of the dogs in need that come into our lives. We will respond as fast as we can to any and all questions and adoption inquiries.
