Heart Bandits American Eskimo Dog Rescue

Heart Bandits American Eskimo Dog Rescue is a dog rescue organization devoted to the American Eskimo Dog (also known as white Spitz) with local chapters across the USA and Canada.

Heart Bandits

• acquires American Eskimo Dogs from shelters, humane societies and from situations of neglect and/or cruelty.
• assists American Eskimo Dogs whose owners can no longer provide a home by finding them new, permanent and loving homes.
• is a nonprofit tax-exempt organization run by VOLUNTEERS.

Heart Bandits expenses are funded through adoption fees and donations. We welcome your financial support as well as other donations (dog toys, paper towels, slicker brushes, Simple Solution, 8.5 x 11 copier paper, etc.). Contact KCHeartBandits@aol.com for more information.

All prospective new homes complete an Adoption Application . Based on this information, we will attempt to match you with the appropriate Eskie. At the time of the adoption an adoption fee is charged and a Heart Bandits Adoption Agreement is signed. The adoption fee is based on the average cost of veterinary services in the area ($250).

All dogs adopted from Heart Bandits

• are in good health unless adopted as a "special needs" Eskie.
• are Spayed/Neutered
• are current on vaccinations (Rabies, DHLPP, and Bordetella)
• Heartworm and fecal negative, and on preventative

Though our adoption procedures are a bit stringent, please remember that these Eskies have already been separated from a home, and not always a loving one. Some have been through the frightening experience of being in a shelter. We try very hard to make adoptions successful and make the best possible decisions for the dogs. Our adoption process helps to assure us that you are ready for the commitment and responsibility of adopting a dog into your family.

Our top priority is the right Eskie into the right home.
