Who We Are
Blue Skye Adoptions, LLC is a small rescue that assists area shelters and occasionally the public with cats and kittens that are too young to thrive in the traditional shelter environment and kittens that need extra socialization. Because of the alarming number of cats that are euthanized in shelters and cats that are left to fend for themselves on the streets, we strongly support spay/neuter and responsible pet ownership.
We do not ship our animals and we only adopt in the Kansas City metro area.
Adopting a friend
All of our animals are spayed or neutered, up to date on shots and worming, tested for feline leukemia and treated for fleas and ear mites. They also come with a free well visit with one of our participating vets. We thank these vets for being such a valuable part of our adoption process!
An application is required prior to visiting our animals in their foster homes and to help ensure a good fit between adopter and adoptee. An application can be filled out and submitted at
