Our Petsmart adoption events are weekly on Saturday. We will also have events on some Sundays - please stop by and visit with the kitties that are looking for their forever homes! Petsmart is located at Shawnee Mission Parkway & Lackman Rd off of 435 in Shawnee, KS
No More Homeless Pets is not a shelter. The Cats & Kittens we have available for adoption have been pulled from high kill municipal shelters. We do not take in animals from the general public to rehome. All of our adoptable pets are in foster homes and a completed adoption application is required prior to scheduling a visit.
Many of our adoptable cats & kittens are however available to visit at the Petsmart at Shawnee Mission Parkway & Lackman Rd. during the week as well as our weekend adoption events.
Our Petsmart adoption events are weekly on Saturdays from 12pm - 4pm.
Purpose of No More Homeless Pets KC:
No More Homeless Pets KC is a non-profit animal welfare organization. Our vision is a lifelong, caring home for every pet in KC. Sadly, each year approximately 20,000 animals are killed in our area shelters. We believe the solution is:
Creating awareness of the issue
High volume, low/no cost spay/neuter
TNR (Trap/Neuter/Return) for Feral and Free Roaming cats
Promoting adoption from local shelters and rescue groups
To achieve our goal of a No Kill KC by 2012, we are building a cooperative effort across the KC animal welfare community.
