Help us save our seniors!! HOAPC is now going to have a "perpetual adoption" on all seniors. What does this mean?? If you adopt a senior from us for a flat adoption fee of $200.00 - when that dog passes on - you can come and get another senior from us at no charge. It is a way to thank those people who take the dogs most people just pass by. Senior dogs deserve a loving ending to thier lives - please help us offer that to as many golden oldies as possible.
We also have what we refer to as "fundraiser" dogs. These are the dogs (or puppies) that are in demand. They help us pay for all the other dogs expenses. When you adopt one of these - you are not only getting a fabulous dog for yourself - but in a way sponsoring another dog too!!
Who We Are
Heart of America Poodle Club is an affiliate of the The Poodle Club of America. We are a small group located in the heart of the country trying to make a difference in the lives of the dogs we love. Due to the fact that we are in the midst of "puppy mill" country - we work hard to do what we can to save as many mill poodles as possible. Unfortunately so many "designer dogs" are poodle mixes - most unscrupulous breeders have some poodles in their program.
Adopting a friend
If you are interest in adopting a poodle from us - please drop us an email telling us about yourself and what you are looking for in a dog. We do our best to match up our babies with the best possible homes. Please include your vet as well as a groomer reference. Adopters with past breed experience is preferred - but we believe that poodles can fit in almost any home environment.
Please know that we have spent years with Poodles. This is the breed that we love and understand. All decisions made in relation to placement will be in the dogs best interest.
Come Visit Us!
Like most rescues - we have no shelter. All of our dogs are in foster care. You will need to make an appointment to view any pet in our program. We will try to return calls and emails as soon as possible. We thank you for your patience when applying for new fur kid.
