Who We Are
Do Re Mi Doggies is a home based foster home -- our foster dogs live with us in our home. We are a licenced foster home in the state of Kansas and only take in one or two dogs at a time (mainly collies or a mix of one of the herding breeds) to find them a good match for a forever home. We require a home visit and vet reference from all of our potential adopters, and an application that each interested person will need to fill out. Email me and I will send it to you.
I do not adopt dogs on a first come, first served basis. Instead, I try to match my foster dog with the best possible situation, so I take multiple applications on each dog.
Adopting a friend
Every dog that is adopted from Do Re Mi Doggies will be spayed or neutered, up to date on shots, on appropriate heartworm preventative and flea and tick preventative. To adopt one of our dogs, we require an application, a vet reference and a home visit.
Come Visit Us!
Since our foster home is our home, we check references and have your home visit before having you meet the adoptable dog. With that and the communication with you about our foster dog, we both will have a reasonable amount of information in order to be fairly certain of a good match before you visit with our foster dog.
