Who We Are
We are the city pound for Gardner, Kansas. The only way we take in animals is if the animal control officer picks up the animal. Once they are here for 4 days, and are unclaimed, we will put the adoptable animals up for adoption.
Adopting a friend
Our adoption fee is $150.00 for cats and dogs. Everything included with a cat adoption: Negative feline leuk/FIV test, negative stool test, rabies, distemper vaccines, and the microchip plus registration. If the kitten is young and needs boosters, the boosters are included in the adoption fee. If there would be any medication needed at the time of adoption, we cover that cost. The spay or neuter is included in the adoption fee also.
Everything included with a dog adoption: Age permitting, they will have a heartworm test(must be negative), negative stool test, rabies, distemper, bordetella vaccination, and the microchip plus registration. If the puppy/dog is young and needs boosters, the boosters are included in the adoption fee. The spay or neuter is also included in the adoption fee.

I 35 south to exit 210. Turn right onto 56 HWY(headed west) and go to the second stop light(Moonlight and Main). Turn left on Moonlight, go over the railroad tracks, then immedately turn left. We are the third buisness on the right.
