Come Meet our Dogs at our Weekly Satellite Adoption Events!

Dogs are allowed to be taken home directly from the satellite locations. We often bring kittens to the Olathe PetSmart. To find out which pets will be attending the upcoming satellite events send an email to karen@hsgkc.org. Our next events are:

The Ray of Hope Program
In 2009 we have partnered with The Humane Society of Greater Kansas City, volunteers, no-kill rescues and shelters, and breed rescue groups. The Ray of Hope program has significantly reduced euthanasia in our shelter to under 4% in 2009, down from 70% in 2007. Our partnership includes transfers of pets to no-kill groups, spaying and neutering of all of those pets, weekend satellite events, and distributing information on low-cost spaying and neutering to the KCK community.
