Rubin is a adult male Labrador Retriever, Border Collie Mix. He is a little shy & quiet, but very good natured with other dogs. Car rides don't agree with stomach.

Who We Are
Parsons Animal Welfare Society (PAWS), formerly Labette County Humane Society, is a privately funded, no kill shelter. PAWS began operation in 1994 after the Humane Society closed. PAWS is a small shelter operated by one person.
Adopting a friend
Out of state/long distance adoptions are wonderful, however, we do require that you come to Parsons to meet and/or pick up your pet. Pets will not be shipped nor adopted out to anyone who cannot come in person to fill out proper paperwork.
We will not adopt out an animal who will be kept on a chain.

Adoption Fees!
Dogs - $65.00 All dogs are heartworm negative, spayed or neutered, vaccinated and wormed.
Cats - $50.00 All cats are feline leukemia negative, spayed or neutered, vaccinated and wormed.
