Greyhound racetracks are closing for the season and some for good!! USADog has just taken in 17 new Greyhounds fresh from the track. We are in the process of getting their medical work done and they will soon be ready for adoption. In the meantime, we have some that are ready and waiting for homes. In October we took in an 8.5 year old broodie bitch named Jill. She's a gorgeous, black female and is being spayed next week. Then she can start her new life over and learn to be a puppy herself. We also have Ty. A beautiful fawn boy that is missing one front leg. His leg had to be removed due to chronic racing injuries. He's now learning to play, loves his toys and has learned some really nice spin moves in his foster home. He's a joy and will make some lucky person a wonderful pet!!VERY HAPPY HOLIDAY UPDATE!!! JILL & TY BOTH WERE ADOPTED OUT THIS LAST WEEKEND TO A WONDERFUL COUPLE THAT HELPS SPECIAL NEEDS DOGS! THANK YOU!!
We will be posting new photos on our petfinder list very soon. Please be on the lookout for those. If you are interested in Ty or Jill, please contact Cindy at firstname.lastname@example.org, I will be happy to send photos to you if we don't have them up on our list yet.
