To the world we are a rescue, but to a rescue we are the world

Who We Are

Sue & Tina were foster parents for a Chihuahua Rescue. We decided to start a rescue that accepts all small breed animals under 25 lbs. Which gives us the opportunity to take in other small breeds along with continuing to take in Chihuahuas. This way we can continue our work in saving the homeless dogs in Indianapolis by taking them in and finding them forever homes. All animals leaving us will be spayed/neutered and vaccinated before adoption.

Mission

To save homeless and abused animals and find them forever homes. Promote spaying & neutering. Preventing accidental and intentional breeding, that contributes to the need for rescues. Returning lost/missing dogs to their owners. We try to make a difference in the animal rescue world. Not just by what we do, but also by supporting our fellow rescue groups. Tina has recently started working with Cats Haven, updating their website & getting photos added & Cats adopted. She also has been working with Indy Feral to get cats TNR in a neighborhood over run with Feral cats. Sue has now joined in (after adopting a few of her own, as a first time feline owner) and we will both be assisting in Cats Haven adoption events.

Our Procedures
1. You meet and greet .
2. Complete adoption application and put down a $20.00 deposit
3. We call and check out all references and your home.
4. We contact you and if all is good - we set up a final adoption appointment - at which time you pay the remaining amount of $160.00-$230.00 and take your baby to his or her forever home.

More Information

Give us a call to meet and greet our babies.

All Adoption fees are put back into the rescue of another baby in need.

We started the rescue with our own money and have continued to re-invest all proceeds back into the rescue.

We are in the process of completing our request for a 501c3 non-profit license. Unfortunately the state requires a lot of paperwork and the attorney's require a fee to file for this license which is ridiculous given we make no profit and have no "extra" funds to pay for such a thing. any assistance with helping us file would greatly appreciated.
