Beagle Buddies is always seeking volunteers and foster families. Fostering is a wonderful way to help save the life of a needy beagle. Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call us at 317-418-1615 to find out more about volunteer and foster opportunities. If you are dedicated to helping animals, kind, compassionate, and able to commit to the beagle for the time it takes to find a home we would welcome speaking with you about fostering. If you would like to foster for us fill out the application and email to us at email@example.com and we will be touch! http://www.beaglebuddies.org/Docs/BeagleBuddiesFosterApplication97-200.doc
Our Adoption Process
To adopt one of our beagles please complete the adoption application and we will contact you to make arrangements to visit with the beagle you are interested in. If you continue to be interested after meeting the beagle and we feel it is a good match for their permanent home we will facilitate the adoption. You can download our application here: http://www.beaglebuddies.org/Docs/BB_AdoptionApplication.doc
Beagle Buddies adoption fee is $100 for beagles older than 5 years and $125 for beagles 1-5 years. Beagles under 1 year of age have an adoption fee of $175. Beagle Buddies spends an average of $310 per beagle getting them ready for a home so all adopters can rest assured that the beagle they adopt is in good health and up to date on shots, is heartworm negative, is currently on heartworm preventative, is spayed/neutered, and many times, if needed, has had a dental cleaning. All adopters receive copies of vet records and treatment their beagle has received in our care.
Beagle Buddies Rescue
We are a small rescue in Central Indiana using a network of foster homes. We rescue older adult and senior beagles and work to place in permanent loving homes. Older adult and senior dogs have an especially hard time finding a loving home when either surrendered to a shelter or found as a stray and turned into animal control. Adults and seniors make the most wonderful pets and companions. They are typically obedient and intelligent and very easy to train using effective consistent interaction. We are committed to finding loving homes for older adults and seniors who are unfortunate enough to find themselves in a shelter homeless in their older years.
We do not have a facility and can only take a limited number of dogs into our rescue. We pull from municipal animal facilities where senior dogs are not likely to be adopted before their holding time is up.
