Who We Are
We are the Animal Welfare League of Kosciusko County. Among our goals are providing happy, healthy animals to families in our community for adoption, the prevention of cruelty to animals, and the education of others in the care of animals. It is also the policy of the league to provide humane care and treatment for the animals in our facility, and to seek to return lost animals to their owners. Adopting a friend
Adoption fees are $100 for dogs and puppies, and $50.00 for cats
There is an adoption contract that must be signed. All dogs/puppies are vaccinated. All dogs 6 months and older are also tested for heartworm. All pets must be spayed or neutered as part of the contract agreement. All our cats/kittens are also vaccinated. Cats six months or older are also tested for Feline Leukemia For more information on our adoption policies go to this link
Adoption Policies. Come meet the many pets up for adoption. Please use the kennel card number(if listed)for the pet you are interested in when calling the shelter or e-mailing. Please Note: Many of the animals we place for adoption have come to us with little or no background information. Therefore we try to evaluate your family's needs and the temperament/breed of the pet as best we can. Please keep this information in mind when adopting from any shelter or rescue organization.

NEW HOURS:The shelter is open Tuesday and Wednesday from 11:30am-5:00 pm and Thursday and Friday 11:30 -6 :00 and Saturday from 11:30am-4:00 pm. We are closed Sunday and Monday.
