Hi I'm Grace. I am a Huggle ! Husky/Beagle mix. Don't you just love my beautiful blue eyes ?
I was left outside, chained and alone unsupervised. I was visited by a handsome guy and we made 7 puppies. I was left out there, chained in the cold with my puppies and most of them succumbed to the frigid weather. My human left me with a family member, separating me from my 2 Babies, she had no room for me so she called Dogs Deserve Better, after a couple of phone calls they found my pups and we were reunited YAY !!! I'm a very good Mommy and I love taking care of my babies.
I am a sweetie pie who needs some love and a home where I can live inside and be adored for the beautiful lady I am. I will be available for adoption on 4/22/2008.
I am 1 1/2 years old, I'm up to date on vaccines, on flea and heart worm preventative and will be spayed as soon as my babies are weened.
You'll need to fill out an application and agree that I'll never be left chained or penned at your house. I'm an inside Dog !

Who We Are
Dogs Deserve Better is a 501(c)(3) not for profit organization dedicated to freeing chained and penned dogs and brining them into the home and family. Every dog on our page has been rescued from a chained or penned life and are in need of a loving home where they will be an inside dog and never be chained or penned again.
All of our dogs are vaccinated, spayed/neutered and on heart worm preventative.
DDB Mission Statement
Dogs Deserve Better's mission is to bring dogs into the home and family from a chained or penned existence. The organization addresses three aspects of societal needs to accomplish this mission: Education, Legislation, and Rescue and Rehabilitation. Through education we elevate individual standards for animal treatment through direct one on one and group contact; through legislation we create more humane laws to protect dogs from living at the end of a chain for life or enclosed in a small space with little to no human contact; and through rescue and rehabilitation we create better lives for individual dogs by fencing yards, helping with housetraining, and fostering, spay/neuter, and finding the dog a new inside home and family
Also, if you feel unsure, go sit down near a chained dog and just look at him for awhile. This too is a great resolve strengthener, as you will really think, this is just NOT ok!
