Who wouldnt love this face? This handsome gentleman is Hooch and he was surrendered to Heartland after his owners lost their home and were no longer able to care for him. Hooch is a wonderful boy with exceptional manners; he gets along with other dogs, cats and absolutely loves people. Hooch is estimated to be about 4 years old and he is considered to be a Puggle, a Beagle/Pug mix. Hooch is currently living in a foster home and his foster mom can't say enough wonderful things about him. She says he is by far the best and easiest dog she has ever fostered and she has enjoyed having him in her home. Hooch is neutered, UTD with vaccines, HW tested negative, microchipped and his adoption fee is $200. If you are interested in adopting Hooch, please contact Mandy at 574-633-4611 or dogs@heartlandsmallanimalrescue.org. Who We Are
Heartland Small Animal Rescue, Inc., is a 501c(3), non-profit, volunteer organization that is dedicated to taking in homeless pets and finding new homes for them through an established adoption program. The organization also works throughout the community to raise awareness of the importance of responsible pet ownership through adoption events, special events and pet education; and serves as a resource to assist local animal control and rescue organizations, as well as the general public. All Heartland animals are housed in foster homes rather than in a shelter environment. Each foster interacts on a daily basis with every animal in their care, and knows not only their individual personalities and behaviors, but also the type of household that would be best suited for the animal.
