Our Dog of the Month...

MIRACLE--A BEAUTIFUL CATAHOULA LEOPARD DOG MIX
This girl was found running loose in Pendleton and brought to a safe place (she loved the little boy who helped bring her to us). Miracle is now spayed and up to date on her vaccines. She is in a foster home, where a visit can be arranged once an approved application is received. Miracle's foster mom says she is sweet and gets along with her foster (dog) siblings. In fact, do not tell the other fosters, but Miracle may be the best foster EVER! Please fill out the adoption application and get approved to take this beautiful girl home!

Our Cat of the Month...

HE-E-E-RE'S EVAN!
I'm Evan, a big handsome, lovable guy who has been here too long and is way overdue for my own home! Please come see how adorable I am--my adoption fee is only $85.00--a great price, huh? I'm already fixed and current on my vaccines, too!

News

NEW MCHS TEE SHIRTS, HOODIES + OTHER COOL STUFF!

Show you care, while supporting the Humane Society cause! Our merchandise is for sale in our office and during special events. Every dollar you spend helps provide care for our animals!

PET-OWNERS BEWARE--PETS ARE BEING STOLEN FROM YARDS IN ANDERSON!!

Don't leave your dog unattended in your yard--dogs are being stolen from neighborhoods, boldly being snatched right out from under their owners' noses, from fenced in yards & while with other pets! If your dog is stolen, report the theft immediately to the police. Watch out for your neighbors' pets & watch for suspicious vehicles in your neighborhood. If you have a Crime Watch group in your neighborhood, alert them, too. Stolen dogs are often used for dog fighting purposes or breeding--don't let this cruel thing happen to your dog!

Foster care homes & other volunteers always needed

Come out to apply to foster MCHS animals today! We need people to help provide temporary in-home care with selected pets to give them personalized attention & socialization. We need help in our shelter with laundry, to walk, brush, and socialize our dogs, to help with cats & dogs at PETSMART, and to work in our office. Just request a volunteer and/or foster application!
