30 DAY LOCK-IN RESULTS

The 30 Day lock-in was a huge success! $31,300.00 in total was raised to help us continue to care for the many animals that rely on us every day. A big thank you to all, for your kindness, generosity and your support. Our work is far from over, and we have a lot of ongoing hard work ahead of us, but with ongoing support and the many fundraisers we have in the works, we are hopeful.

Come visit Rhonda to see her new MCHS logo tatoo!

The Madison County SPCA Humane Society, Inc. operates a 501c3 tax-exempt public charity. MCHS is a "No-Kill'' receiving facility dedicated to providing housing, food and health care for lost, homeless, surrendered, or neglected companion dogs and cats. Our adoption program is designed to find new forever homes for all of our temporary residents.

Our Dog of the Month...

'Foxy'

Foxy is a such a sad, sweet little boy who just wants someone to love and to love him back. He was given up by his owner who was in an abusive relationship, and he now desperately needs someone to cuddle with. Foxy is 7-8 yrs. old and was kept in diapers his whole life. He walks on a leash, but stays right by your side--you see, Foxy is losing his vision and things must appear shadowy to him. He gets along very well with other dogs and cats. We all love little Foxy, and if a dog smiles, Foxy surely does! If you want a devoted companion and lapdog, Foxy's just a wonderful little guy!

Our Cat of the Month...

'Sassy Cat'

Sassy Cat was left in a carrier on our front porch. She is very friendly, affectionate, loves to be petted, and is good with other cats. She is approximately 4 yrs. old and would love to find a good loving forever home.
