$1,000.00 REWARD!
A $1,000.00 reward is being offered by the Madison County Humane Society for information leading to the arrest of the person or persons responsible for the senseless and brutal mutilation deaths of several dogs left in a creek near Ingalls, IN.
On Feb. 4, 2010, a passerby discovered the bodies of at least 10 dogs and the numbers are rising. These dogs were tortured, dismembered and suffered a brutally horrifying death. As the investigation is on-going more details will be posted as they become available. The Madison County Humane Society is partnering with Anderson Animal Care and Control, the HSUS and hopefully others to try to increase the reward amount to bring whoever did this to justice.
If you can donate to the reward fund PLEASE click on the donate button above. Please note it is for the REWARD.

The Madison County SPCA Humane Society, Inc. operates a 501c3 tax-exempt public charity. MCHS is a "No-Kill'' receiving facility dedicated to providing housing, food and health care for lost, homeless, surrendered, or neglected companion dogs and cats. Our adoption program is designed to find new forever homes for all of our temporary residents.
'Otis'
Otis is a beautiful brindle male, neutered Pit Bull, between 1-2 yrs. old. He was abandoned, left tied to our fence in the alley, and desperately needs his forever home. Otis is such a sweetheart! He's very loving, energetic, and playful--he loves his squeaky toys and treats! He knows how to sit and shake hands, too. Otis likes everybody of all ages and is good with other dogs. Please come see this sweet, friendly boy!
A home visit will be required to adopt Otis.
Our Cat of the Month...
'Patter'
Patter is 5 months old. He was found in a wood pile as an unweaned orphan. His brother Pitter has been adopted and Patter would love a place to call home too. He was hand raised on a bottle and loves affection. He will return any affection given to him. He is a talker and will tell you what he is thinking all the time. He is fine with kids, cats and dogs.
