Meg is an amazing, well-behaved and well-trained labradoodle. Her previous owner could no longer care for her so she was taken to a shelter. She is now being taken care of by fosters.
She sits, shakes, stays, and lies down upon command. She will not get on furniture and is fully housebroken. Meg also heels on a leash with few reminders.
She is about five years old and is very playful, but calms down inside. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs, but may need a slow introduction.
Meg would be great in a home with children or a home with active individuals because she loves to play and go for walks. It is not known if she gets along with cats.
The adopter must agree to keep Meg as an inside pet. Meg does shed.

News
Please consider all aspects before wanting to adopt a dog. If you are ready for a dog that may have some issues we are fine with that, but dogs are not toys that you can test run and then toss back when it is not working very well at first. Rescues and rehomes need time to adjust to their new homes and the environment. Please only apply to adopt if you are serious!!!
Who We Are
Who We Are:
IDOG Doodle Rehome/Rescue Resources is a program of the International Doodle Owners Group, Inc. (IDOG.Biz) The International Doodle Owners Group, Inc. is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) public charity group. IDOG has been rescuing doodles for 5 years now and we have rehomed over 800 doodles in that time. We are an independent rescue and not affiliated with any other rescue.
To adopt one of our beautiful dogs you must first complete our online application. click here to complete our application
We do require an interview (sometimes we do this by phone) and a home visit may be required. We only adopt dogs to families who will keep them as inside pets. if you aren't willing to work with your new rescue and let them get to know you at their own pace, please don't apply for one of our doodles. Returning a dog within 24-48 hours of picking it up is hard on the dog. Go to a breeder if you want a cute little puppy that wags its tail when he sees you. He hasn't been through what a rescue dog has been through. Rescuing a dog is a lifetime commitment and if you give your all, you will get a great friend in return. They need time and patience.
ALTHOUGH WE ARE BASED IN INDIANA, WE HAVE DOGS IN FOSTER HOMES ALL OVER THE CONTINENT - PLEASE SEE THE LOCATION LISTED AFTER THE DOG'S NAME. (for example "in TX" after the name means that the dog is physically in the state of Texas)
In most instances, you will be required to live within driving distance of where the dog is located.
WE DO NOT SHIP OR TRANSPORT DOGS UNLESS THIS OPTION IS STATED ON THE LISTING.
Shipping is stressful on the dog, and stressful for the volunteer who has to spend hours preparing the dog and the paperwork. It is not simply a matter of paying the shipping charge.
We only ship a dog if we cannot find it a home where it is. The hardest dogs to place are black males.
OUR ADOPTION DONATIONS RANGE FROM $200 - $375 depending on the dog.
under 6 months $300 and up to $375
6 months to 2 years $250 and up to $350
2 years - 4 years $225 and up to $325
4 years + $200 and up to $300
