Thank you for your patience.
Last Chance Rescue, Inc., is a no-kill, cage-less animal rescue and refuge in Northwest Indiana. One of our goals is to match our many loving animals with equally loving and responsible adopters. We also strive to help the animals considered "not adoptable" due to age or physical or behavioral issues. We work to socialize, rehabilitate and regain the trust of animals who have been abused or injured.
We believe that everyone deserves a chance and that healthy animals should not be euthanized simply because they are older or have physical or behvioral issues.
We are devoted to animal rescue and are committed to reducing pet overpopulation and educating the public about the importance of spaying and neutering.
We promote and support prevention of cruelty to all animals.
All our animals are spayed or neutered and current on vaccines. Dogs are also heartworm tested and on preventative medicine. Cats are also tested for feline leukemia and feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV).
If you are interested in adopting any of the wonderful animals at Last Chance, please contact us.
Would you like to make a difference? Last Chance Rescue desperately needs volunteers who are willing to roll up their sleeves and help clean the cat rooms and dog runs.We have limited funds, so it is difficult to hire cleaners when we have animals that need medical attention and spaying and neutering. So, if you have a strong back--and can lift and bend and scoop and clean one day a week--or even a few days each month--WE NEED YOU!
If you cannot clean, but would like to help in another way, please consider the rewarding job of fostering a dog or cat. As a foster mom or dad, we ask that you be willing to house a dog or cat until they have found a permanent adoptive home. We will provide food and medical care--you provide the love!
