The ARK Fostercare Program is a 501(c) non-profit organization created to provide foster care for canines and felines at no-kill shelters, to educate and assist with "free" litters within the community, and to provide care for stray animals. With a small kennel environment, we are able to observe and care for each foster individually. The ARK also has a small cattery which houses up to 10 felines.
Our program also focuses on getting dogs into foster homes to gain as much information as possible on their personalities and individual needs. We hope to increase the chance for adoptable animals to find homes, as well as focus on training needs for adoptable dogs with specific concerns.
Our garage sale is held each year in the Spring in Plainfield, Indiana. We have specific drop-off dates with volunteers ready to accept your donations. Please email us if you have items you would like to donate or to find out when it is held so you can stop by to shop. We appreciate your support!
Our biggest adoption event is held in September during the Avon Heritage Fall Festival. We show our fosters at this large community event. We will have all of our available dogs at this event for you to meet. Stop by and see them when you attend this fun-filled community festival.
