This sweet girl LOVES children!!! She is very well behaved and very smart! She will make a great pet to any family big or small. Poor Cassie thought she had found her forever home, but instead, her "family" decided within 48 hours that she wasn't worth keeping because her and their other dog didn't become instant friends after a 5 hour car ride with at least 10 other dogs. Cassie does get along with other dogs (she made that car ride in a crate with 3 other dogs with no problems!), but according to her foster, she thinks chickens are supposed to be her next meal! Cassie is currently in foster care with a rescue in Joliet, IL, so please call for more information or before going to see her! If interested, e-mail Purduetigger@yahoo.com or call (765) 714-5266 right away!!
This handsome boy's previous owners named him "Roadside," but we didn't like that so his new name is Roadie! He is slightly scared because he isn't sure what's going on, and if you do accept him into your home, he will need a dark, quiet place to hide in until he knows he's safe. However, this boy becomes SUCH a lover once he knows he's safe and can trust you! Due to his sensitivity to chaos, Roadie would probably be better in a home without small children. This poor boy was brought in by his owners, who already had him neutered and vaccinated, and he is now looking for a home with somebody to love him forever! Roadie is currently in foster care, but he can't stay there for much longer!!! Please let us know if you are interested in this boy!! If you are interested in giving this boy a better life, please e-mail Purduetigger@yahoo.com or call (765) 714-5266 right away!!

Adopting a friend
We always have a wonderful selection of loving pets that need a forever home. Our community depends on us just as we depend on our community to make sure great pets get out of bad situations and into the arms of great people.
With adoption, new pet parents receive a voucher for spay/neuter and rabies shot and a city license. We also offer micro-chipping for new adoptions from the shelter (and a reduced lifetime city license rate) to help keep your new loved one safe for his or her lifetime! If your new pet is already spayed or neutered, your total adoption fee is also reduced.
The total adoption costs range from $20 to $100 depending on whether your new addition to your family is a cat or dog, spayed or neutered, lives in the city, and is or needs to be microchipped.
