Boris -Recovering - Thank You!!! !
Boris wants to thank everyone who has contributed for his surgery.
Boris is home! He still has several more hurdles to jump before he's considered cured. The restrictor is in place now, so there will be at least 4 appointments where he will have the restrictor expanded to slowly close off the shunt. If all that goes as planned, he will be able to return to a normal diet and activity level. He has a good prognosis of a long healthy life!

All donations received will be used to cover the medical needs of our dogs while they are in our care awaiting forever homes

Want to help, but can't adopt?
Like most rescues, our greatest need is for foster homes! We desperately need people who are willing to open their hearts and homes by offering temporary placement to Siberians who are facing euthanasia or living in unsafe or unsatisfactory environments. Please email us for further information on fostering a homeless husky or to volunteer in other ways. You can also leave us a message at (317)-251-PAWS.
Who We Are
Indy Homes for Huskies is a non-for-profit 501c3. All donations and adoptions are tax deductable. The organization is comprised of private individuals committed to the rescue and adoption of Siberian Huskies and Husky mixes. We are all volunteers.

Our adoption process on all of our posted dogs includes an application, complete reference checks and a home visit. We want to be sure that this is a good match for both the dog and the family!

We are a rescue organization and have no physical shelter. All of the dogs posted are either in foster homes or with their current owner. The majority of these homes are in the Indianapolis area; however, we also have foster homes in other Indiana communities.
