Canine Angels, Inc. is a dog RESCUE devoted to saving the lives of dogs in jeopardy of being euthanized in shelters all over Indiana. We were established in 2002 to assist shelters in giving adoptable dogs a new "leash" on life. We have since rescued and adopted over 1,000 dogs that would have been euthanized. Since we are a RESCUE, NOT a shelter, we are a NO-KILL facility. We rescue dogs from Indiana shelters located state wide and foster them until approved, permanent homes can be found. Because we have limits on space, we are designed to ONLY assist shelters. Therefore, we do NOT accept owner turn-ins...NO exceptions. All our adopted animals are to be INDOOR animals only or they will not be adopted.

Canine Angels, Inc. is NOT a breed specific rescue, meaning that we accept nearly all breeds as well as mutts! We do not work with Pit Bulls or Pit mixes.
We also do out-of-state adoptions but we do NOT ship any animals.

We also implement a STRICT SPAY/NEUTER POLICY for all adopted pets.

If you are a SHELTER that would like to be added to our list of shelters that we RESCUE from, please contact us with your information and then let us know who needs help. We can not guarantee that we can ALWAYS help (We whole-heartedly wish we could), but we will do our best to take in who we can, when we can.
Spay and Neuter Policy...
Canine Angels, Inc. has a strict spay/neuter policy. However, we have a
strict follow up policy which is outlined in our adoption contract. We do
follow up on ALL adoptees to be sure they have been taken care of by the specified
date (generally, 1 month from date of adoption) and if we find that the pet
infact has NOT been altered, the pet is immediately returned to our care.

pets, and when you see one that interests you, Fill
Out An Adoption Application Online! with the name of the pet(s) you are interested
in in the subject line. We will promptly e-mail you back with any information
you request. Just send the completed application back to us and we will let you
know ASAP how to proceed. From there, you can visit the pet to see if he/she would
be compatible with your family!
