The Kitty Korner was founded in May of 2002 by Animal Rescue Fund (ARF) for our feline friends. We provide shelter and medical care to abandoned, abused, and neglected cats and kittens in a homelike setting, until good, loving homes can be found for them.
The Kitty Korner, as with ARF, was founded out of profound love and respect for animals and a desire to end their needless death and suffering
We are a "no kill" shelter, meaning that every healthy, adoptable cat is guaranteed a home, whether the cat stays with us a short while or a lifetime
We are run exclusively by volunteers
We are funded 100% through donations as a private non-profit organization
