Our Featured Pet...
We will be closing our doors this fall. We need to take a break for awhile. Many of our pigs are moving to rescues in Ohio and Pennsylvania. The remaining pigs will be adopted out locally, or will stay with us the rest of their lives. We will keep our petfinder account open for people in the Kentuckiana area who would like help finding new homes for their pets or for pigs they've taken in from bad situations.

Who We Are
We are a small rescue, located in our home in Borden, 12 miles off exit 7 on I-65 near Sellersburg, IN. We take in owner surrenders for a fee, and we work with the local Humane Societies, Animal Control, and the shelters.
Adopting a friend
We have a simple adoption application. We charge a $30 adoption fee, per pig, a pair for $40, and will not adopt out single pigs. We will adopt a second pig into a home with an existing guinea pig. Your adoption fee covers not only the cost of your furry new companion(s), a cavy health record guide with excellent care info, a week's worth of pellets, and a week's worth of yummy Kleenmama Hay. We have minimum cage requirements. We will build cages like those seen at www.cavycages.com. A 2x4 cage is $35-40, depending on the cost of materials. We will not adopt out for breeding, and suggest you plan a visit to meet our entire crew. We can help you find the best equipment and supplies to help your guinea pig lead a long and healthy life!
