The shelter is located about 1/2 way between the towns of Genoa and Sycamore IL - 2 1/2 miles east of Rt.23.

Directions

From the Northeast:
Follow Rt.72 west to Rt.23 Genoa and turn left (south), go approximately 4 miles to Baseline Rd. and turn left (east).
Follow this for 21/2 miles to the shelter located on the left. There is a sign in front.

From the far east:Take I-90 - Northwest Tollway west past Elgin to Rt.47 and exit south (left).
Follow Rt.47 south to Rt.72 turn right (west) and follow directions above.

From the Southeast: Take Rt.64 - North Avenue into Sycamore and turn right (north) at Rt.23 (The DeKalb Co. courthouse is on this corner).

Follow about 4 miles to Baseline Rd. and turn right (east) go 2 1/2 miles to the shelter located on the left.

From the North West:

Take Rt.72 east thru the town of Genoa and turn right (south) on Rt.23.
Follow for about 4 miles to Baseline Rd and turn left go 2 1/2 miles.
