Project hope is no-kill, non-profit 501(c)(3) Animal Rescue Organization.
We strongly believe in givng a high quality of life to the animals while they remain at the shelter. For the dogs, we have almost a half acre fenced in for them to run and play in three times daily. The cats have large enclosures, where they can climb, play or just hang out on different levels. All adoptions include a spay/neuter fee.
We welcome volunteers, young or old! Please call the shelter during business hours and talk to our shelter manager, Lee Parker, if you would like to come and volunteer.

Our adoption fees vary. We are located just west of Metropolis Illinois on Route 45 at 1698 West 10th Street near Airport Road, next to Trail's Inn Tavern.
