Together we can make a difference!

Hailey
Hailey was rescued from a high kill facility on 8/23/11. She is about 6-8 months old and weighs about 20lbs. Sometime in her short life, she sustained a serious injury from abuse or an attack by either an animal or person. Because of this, the left side of her face was left untreated and is disfigured. Her left eye is permanently tilted upwards. It has absolutely no effect on her health or personality.
Hailey is an an absolute love. She is a Shepherd/ Collie mix. She is adorable and a sweet trusting puppy. She is most content laying at her caretaker's feet and there is never a shortage of kisses from this little wee one.
Hailey gets a long with other dogs , cats, and children. She does have a bit of puppy left in her and will need more basic training. Although she is currently living with both dogs and cats, she would prefer to be the only dog in the house as she craves being the center of attention. She has quickly stolen our heart as well as her fosters.
We require an at home evaluation and screening prior to adoption. We do this to ensure that our animals will go to safe forever homes. Due to distance and travel time, we do not adopt our animals to individuals or families out of state. We ask that you please call and inquire whether we are able to travel to your area.

"Making A Difference Rescue" is a Non-Profit Organization that is funded solely by donations made by the public. We are a 501(c)(3), no-kill animal rescue based in the Channahon, Illinois. With the help of dedicated volunteers and foster homes, as well as boarding and daycare facilities, we are able to rescue animals from potential euthanasia and help lower overpopulation in area shelters.
Making A Difference Rescue is made up of a group of volunteers that are dedicated to placing abandoned and at-risk animals into pre-approved, reference checked, home visited homes. Making A Difference Rescue believes that these steps are crucial in order to ensure a safe and forever loving home for their animals.
Supplies that can be donated is always greatly appreciated.
